Self-Directed Learning

Qualitative Data

Qualitative Data

The qualitative data is broken into three sections: the benefits of self-directed learning, the cautions or potential drawbacks, and student reflections. The benefits and drawbacks were collected anecdotally throughout the course of the year by three teachers working in the classroom. Student reflections were collected three times throughout the year, twice through writing and once through an oral interview.
